USB flash drive- new hardware

When I plug in a new USB mass storage flash drive my computer recognizes the
new hardware but it activates the New Hardware Wizard and asks for a CD.
There is of course no CD and the Wizard is unable to sucessfully finish.
This problem has happened with two newly purchased flash drives - both of
which work on other machines.

Any suggestions, please help!
