I have an external USB/Firewire hard drive. I have in my power settings to turn off hard disks after 3 minutes. When the hard drive is hooked up through firewire, it turns off after the three minutes. However, while my hard drive is connected through USB, it does not turn off at all. Anyone have any clues to why Firewire turns off the disk and why USB does not?
