USB E-Z Link cable & Windows XP

Hi everyone,

I just recently purchased a USB E-Z Link cable so that I
may connect my Windows ME laptop to my Windows XP pc.

The installation worked fine with my laptop, but failed
to install into my pc. It appears the installation
program was unable to recognize windows xp.

I went to the E-Z Link web site:
http://www.starmount.co.uk/u_link2.htm but found that
they have no available drivers for windows xp. I'm still
waiting for a response from their tech support.

Should their tech support fail to provide a remedy, is
there an alternative solution?

It is my observation that there are many other pc
accessories that don't work with windows xp. One such
accessory is my lifeview robocam pc camera, which fails
to install when it encounters windows xp.

See if they have drivers for Windows 2000 which usually work just fine for
XP.

As you've discovered, drivers for 9x/ME don't work.
