USB DSL causes the system to halt

Hi,

I'm using an USB DSL modem (ALE 130), After finishing
surfing or downloading it can't be disconnected. Also it
causes the System to halt if the connection via the modem
was somehow stoped.

Do you have any other USB devices connected / active when you're using
the modem?

When you installed the USB driver for the modem, were ALL programs
closed? Sometimes it's too inconvenient to close everything when we
install a driver, and this sort of thing happens. :(

Try rebooting, un installing the driver, rebooting again, reinstalling
the driver, rebooting again. Assuming the driver has a good un
install routine.

If that fails, contact the manufacturer.

Consider getting an Ethernet modem.
