I have several USB devices that I frequently plug into and remove from my
WinXP computer - for example, an MP3 player. Every time I plug in the MP3
player, WinXP goes through the "found new hardware" wizard and demands
drivers. I must locate the drivers - which are, of course, already in the
system directory - and tell WinXP where they are, after which the device
works, but it is really annoying to have to do this every single time I plug
the thing in. Surely there's a way around this?
