I am trying to install software and I need to know how to tell if I have 32
or 64 bit connection and I dont know how to find out.

If you don't know you almost certainly have 32-bit Windows. To be sure, go
to Control Panel>System applet. Look on the System applet's General tab and
you'll see the name of your operating system and its Service Pack level. If
it says 64-bit you have it. If it says only something like "XP Home Service
Pack 2" you have 32-bit.
