usb driver

Hi,

When I turn on my PC I get a message a new hardware
detected and is looking for a usb driver. In the device
manager when I look at the layout it has USB and its
marked with yellow marker.

I am not sure which usb driver its looking for. Can you
help.

It is probably looking for the USB driver set that came with the
motherboard cdrom. This would definitely be the situation if the
motherboard does not use an USB driver set that is provided
in the Windows 2000 installation cdrom.
