USB Devices not Recognised

Hi there,

Some of the USB devices attached to my PC have suddenly failed to work while
others continue to work fine.

I have tried looking at the USB settings, all seems ok there. I have tried
re-installing the drivers for the affected devices with no luck. I have tried
changing cables and using different ports with no success. I have tried the
affected devices on other computers and they work perfectly.

The mouse, keybord, printer and headphones (all USB) are working while the
Scanner, Card Reader and IPod fail.

I haven't installed any new software, nor changed any settings that I know
of since these devices were working...

does anyone have ideas as to what might be causing this problem or how it
might be resolved?

Many thanks

Thanks for posting these links, Carey. Sadly, I can't find anything on those
trobleshooting pages I haven't tried already :(
