Hello,
i'm haveing some issues with USB.
When i connect a non self-powered device into my computer, the system finds
the new device and after a few seconds it disconnects the device again. This
happens to all non self-powered usb devices.

I've tried the following, non worked:

- I've tried pluggin in in all other USB slots
- I tried it with diconnecting all other USB devices
- I've uninstalled the driver for USB and reinstalled them
- I've tried the devices that dont work on a other pc (they work)

Please Help me, i cannt find any other solution anywhere:(

Thank you
Philip

I suspect that the port itself is the issue, and not supplying enough
power/voltage. may be problems with the motherboard or the powersupply
of the PC. You may try disable save power in Device manager for the USB
hub but likely that wou't fix the real problem.

Yes, i tried that with the "disable power", but it didnt work.
So do you have any suggestions about how I could trace down this problem?

Thanks for the help
Philip

How good are you with a VOM? If that term is unfamiliar, you are better
off using powered hub, if that won't work for you, try replacing Power
supply and if you still havent got it working replace the motherboard.

I will try the powered Hub option, and follow-up from there.
Thanks alot for the suggestions and you're time:)

Philip
