USB detection problem

In my case recently to see the effect of changes
I did change
---
in one of service as follows
Name of service : Removable Storage
name of exectuable for the service: C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs

startup type : from automatic to manual

After this change My computer stopped detecting USB drive.
Fortunately I was able to revert to orginal settings by easy to use software of Starter v5.6.2.8
which is yet another startup manager for Microsoft Windows. One of direct link I found was at
