Hi,

I have an Acer Extensa 501T notebook which is running
Windows 2000. I have bought a Canon printer which
requires a USB connection between the printer and
computer. The computer does not seem to recognise or be
able to find the USB input, even after seraching the whole
system?? I understand that Windows 2000 should
automatically recognise such a input???

Any ideas would be great!!

Regards,
Tonia

Direct USB connection between the printer and the notebook or is it through
a hub? If a direct connetion, does the notebook see the printer after it is re-
booted whilst the printer is powered on? If through a hub, it should be powered
by its own power supply.
