usb connection prob?

My computer keeps rebooting when i turn it on. for some
reason the alcatel automatically connects to the
internet , this makes my pc reboot. If i catch the dial
up first and disconnect it (work offline) wait a few
minutes then connect to the internet its fine......help.

I have a broadband connection using an alcatel modem (usb)
