I have trouble in connecting 2 computers with a usb 2 bridge cable. In one of
the computers (pc1) I have access at all the files of the other computer
(pc2), but in this one I was not able to access at no one of the pc1. In both
computers I establish the sharing mode to the directories. I don’t understand
the issue so can you help me…It seems to me that is not a question of
firewall since it still happens when I disable it.
Thanks.

It happens too that pc2 doesn't recognize pc1 as a pc in the home net.

Is this a standard USB cable or a special USB "transfer" cable?

Check with the anti-virus software. I am not sure about USB transfers
but some anti-virus software will block the access of the "other" PC
via PC name (\\PC1.) However, they will let you access via IP address
(\\192.168.0.1.)

Hi
Hopefully you are not using a regular USB cable with two large plugs.
You need a special cable like this,
http://www.buy.com/prod/transfer-cable-for-win-vista/q/loc/101/204332853.html
The cable comes with Drivers that install Network connections.

Once you see the network Connections in the Computers Device Manger you
configure the Sharing.
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is
allowed to be shared.
