I am trying to install a USB cordless telephone on my computer running XPSP2.
The computer however will not recognize the USB audio device. The
manufacturer of the telephone says that XP drivers should automatically
detect the device.
I discovered that the USB audio driver has not been loaded.
It is not in the Windows/System32/Drivers directory but I found it in the
ServicePackFiles/i386 directory which I assume is a storage folder.
( I have the same problem on a laptop computer as well)
Why is the driver not loaded?
I am running on an Intel D845PESV Motherboard with onboard audio.
