Can I access a USB flash drive (currently seen as f:) as a: on a
system with no floppies under Win 2000sp4? (Why? I want to install some
old software that thinks it's on a floppy and needs to write to a: at
install time) T.I.A.

From a command prompt;

subst A: F:\

(note A:\ can not exist before hand)
