I'm not sure if there's one that exists or not, but is there a USB adapter
card that not only has ports on the rear, but it also has a place to connect
your front panel USB connectors to the card? Thanks.

Sure many, perhaps most are like that.

Luck;

You can browse Newegg, and look at the pictures.

The last time I looked, this one was the only one that had a
2x5 header. I presume that means it support two front panel
ports on the computer. The only downside of this, is the VIA
chip is not at the top of the list, in terms of chip choices.

A lot of the other ones seem to use an "external" style connector,
as the internal connector, and with that, only one port is supported.

Sure, and what's more, that "pin header" is fairly standard -- a ten-pin
header with one pin knocked out to key the connector. I bought one of
these, and it works well on a Windows XP machine:

It only provides 4 ports: 2 back panel + 2 front panel. The product
title is a bit misleading in calling it a 2+1 card.

There are several other cards that have a single internal port, either
as an USB connector or a 4-pin header, or both. I'm speculating from
what you've said, though, that you're trying to serve two front panel
USB ports that have a 2x4-pin (2x5-pin) connector.

yes, look through the pictures of those at
http://www.newegg.com , they have had one and I think at
least one is their house, "Rosewill" brand.

I think most of them have that - have a look at Ebay (shops). You'll pick up
a new one for much less than other online shops.
