Hello, and help. I had my computer cleaned up, windows xp was deleted and
then reinstalled. A Delkin reader that had previously worked fine is now not
working. I get the message there is a problem with hardware. The message in
the devise manager says there is a problem with the registry. The folks at
Delkin say that the driver for this devise is integral to xp, and that they
don't have a download. Any ideas. Thanks

R.click my computer,properties,hardware,device mgr,scroll down to usb,expand
the tree,R.click the usb controller, select update drivers. After, close out
properties.
Also,if youre computers board is intel based,go to
intel.com,software/drivers,
chipsets, software, locate the chipset installation utility, download and
install,get
the previous .EXE to the most current one listed.

Open the Device Manager and right click your reader. Select "uninstall" from
the Menu. After that finishes, restart your Computer. Upon restart, Windows
should pick up the reader and offer to reinstall it.
