I'm having problems trying to activate the high-speed capabilities of my msi kt4av motherboard. Latest drivers/win xp updates/bios are installed. I also have a seperate usb 2.0 pci card which has the same problems. I've run usb monitor and found that although my high speed devices are indeed usb 2.0, my system is only connecting to them at the "fast" speed of around 11mb instead of the 400 odd I need for my new audigy nx 2 sound device to work. Please advise... I've tried pretty much everything I can think of and I hate having to take stuff back! :)

System:

WinXP Home sp1
Athlon XP @ around 2.1Ghz
512 Mb DDR
MSI KT4aV mobo
42x CDR/W
16x DVD
140Gb HDD
Total of 7 USB 2.0 (supposedly) ports,
1x composite media input device
Tv Tuner PCI Card
Onboard LAN, FIREWIRE
SB Audigy NX 2 USB sound device
etc, etc...

There's a USB-2 patch at MSI. Also, upgrade your VIA chipset drivers. The
current version is 4.51.

You might want to sign up for the MSI monthly newsletter. It provides links
to the latest updates.
