Which one has better performance in term of the speed?
It's not just speed, but the quality and age of the build. Every MB
has a personality and quirks. A HD is basically a HD to an those
older broads, whether ATA or SATA. USB transfers with a flashdrive
from two ASUS boards I use is double the speed on a more recent
pinsocketed Duron (Intel's answer to overclocking cheap AMDs). But,
the point is hypothetical, they were made as well as they could be --
the light that once burned twice as long moves so very slow now, Roy.
USB3 is here now (at three times a likely price premium a PCI USB3
board upgrade will command over the next year). USB3 Docking
Stations, Newegg's house-badged Rosewil, I've seen already for half --
$29 in greenback.
