The first place I'd look is the Control Panel under System >Hardware>Device
Manager. Click on Uiniversal Serial Bus Controller and note if you see the
word "enhanced" in describing the USB host controller. That is the
descriptor to tell you that you have USB 2. If it's not there then you have
USB 1.
So an Asus P4C800E-Deluxe only has one USB 2 controller and the rest are
1.1???
There are five controllers listed and only one appears with "Enhanced" in
the name.

I think they're all USB 2. Your mb is certainly new enough that it would be
that way. You only need the one controller showing up "enhanced" to
accommodate all of your USB ports. I have the same situation on my own
computer. "Enhanced" only shows up once.
