US phone # for Dell with live body to talk to?

I am having a bad time trying to talk to a Dell rep who is in the US but
not in Panama, India,Mexico etc.
I need to get a hardware pro fixed and Dell has shielded itself from all
assault by having browbeaten foreign workers having no help to offer but
silence!

Could someone give me a real US phone number to talk with a responsive
person who will honor my warrantee?

I know it's probably a common plea, but I'm totally frustrated.

Some people report better success during normal business hours.
