URLs as clickable using WXP.... HOW?

Since I've used this PC with W-XP for the last 6 months my friends have been
complaining they don't receive URLs as clickable blue in e-mails anymore, as
sent
before with W98SE. I send them from IE6 using OE6. I don't use Netscape.

How and where do I make changes so they get the URL in blue and clickable
INSTEAD of as an *attachment* they must open? I've been through
Tools/Options
several times and either miss it or the choice is no there.

I thought his was a "HELP & SUPPORT" group for those using W-XP? I *am*
using W-XP and no one in the new-user NG seemed to know how to make these
changes - go look for yourself. :-)

I answered your post in another group with a "kind of" question. The answer
I gave is the way I have successfully added links to e-mails and newsgroups
for years. Go back to the other groups and look for the response. This is
nothing but an e-mail, here is a link.

Click it and see. No, it is nothing that will harm your machine.

Actually no, this is not "HELP & SUPPORT" group for those using W-XP.
This newsgroup is intended for issues related to the "Help and
Support" function of Windows XP.
Click "Start" and one of the items on the menu is "Help and Support".

Thanks JAX. I replied to you there also. :-)

I was hoping perhaps someone on THIS NG may have known how I can change it
to the way it was, and skip the extra steps. I'll live with it the way it
is.

** Oh, I see. On my PC, a HP, I get a HP "help & support" window. They
load their PC with a lot of "stuff." Sorry I bothered you guys.

Juniper Jones;
Your answer to Free Spirit is the first time I have ever seen anyone explain
the correct usage of this NG. Apparently, from the type posts here, she and
I are not the only ones who were/are uninformed of our misinterpretation of
the NGs heading. Thanks for setting the record straight.
