Hello,
"url2bmp is a Windows freeware converting an URL to an image"

why the heck anyone would need to do this is beyond me.
but hey, its freeware...

it it cool to create screenshots of pages, that don't fit your
monitor resolution. Some shareware screenshot programs have a
auto scrolling feature I have not seen in freeware till now,
but this works too for the same purpose. All you have to do is
"guess" the needed height...

Regards,
Thorsten

I have found this application to be of tremondous usefulness.

It saves the page to one file with no huss or fuss. If you
use your browser to save a page it starts going off on a tangent and
creating directories, downloading image files, and even html
files that are referenced by the page you are trying to save.
All that takes pretty much time as well.

Internet Explorer has the option to save web pages complete with images etc
to one .mht file. Choose file, save as, choose .mht from the popup menu. I
can see no point in creating an graphic image from which text cannot be
pasted.
