Recently I published frontpage onto the server at work. Anyone know how I can
change the URL to INTRANET or what ever I chose. Right now the link is
C:\Documents and Settings\Tim\My Documents\index.htm. Also the site is not on
the web , just keeping it local.

Explain what you are doing
If you are trying to get the rest of the network to see the page you need to have your admin set it us as a shared location

Sten ,

everyone can see the page . What I'm trying to do is change C:\Documents
and Settings\Tim\My Documents\index.htm to INTRANET or what ever I chose..
So all anyone on the server has to do is type in Intranet

Then they need to Map a Network Drive to the folder

You'd need a PC running Windows 2000 or XP Prof or 2003 Server to use IIS,
and publish the site to c:\inet\wwwroot so then you can access by
http://locahost.
