Generaly, when I click on a url on a web site, the resulting window will open
maximized (which I prefer). Some times, I'll get into a condition where they
open in the, smaller, normal window. I don't know what causes this or how to
fix the problem. If I do nothing, after a couple of days, the windows will
start opening maximized. Can anyone help?

Windows remembers the size of the last Normal IE window closed.
Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.

If that doesn't do it try the REG file here:

Thanks Frank. This works for me!
