Everything you need to know about HTML and sound is here:
http://www.mountaindragon.com/html/sound.htm
What particular Code do you have?
The url of the song is just the location of the sound file. The usual
procedure is to upload the sound file to your site so you don't have to refer
to a remote site that may or may not be available when you page is viewed.
That said, sound on a web site is almost always a bad idea. I, and many
others, often listen to music or radio as we surf, and the intrusion of web
page sounds is almost always unwelcome. I have yet to hear a sound file that
adds anything to a personal website. Flash animations and band sites may be
exceptions to this rule.
If you insist on making this fundamental design error (And many people do),
be sure to give the user an option to turn the sound off.
