"Url open error"

I receive a "url open error" message in a small grey
window with no visible means of helping me to put this
right. This only happens when my desktop has loaded. If
its any help it says FY1 in the blue area at the
top...........plz help if u can its so frustrating

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
