I have 2 user accounts on XPPro. Both setr as admins. 1 works OK but the
other can't click an email link on the internet. Says no default email
association. Outlook 2003 is my default. In the file association list, on the
good user account there is a (NONE) URL:mailto protocol listed but not in
the other account. How can I get that association restored to the user
account missing it? I had installed IE7 but uninstalled it.

Open the Windows explorer and click on Tools >> Folder Options.
On the Folder Options click on File type Tab then click on New to create a
new file type to the outlook.
On the Create New Extension you will see a text input like this:

File Extension: [ ( NONE) ] [ Advanced >>] if you
click on advanced you will see:

Associated File Type: [ ][v] you can
select the Associated from the drop down list and scroll down to URL: MailTo
Protocol.

Then you can highlight the New input on the Folder Options under type and
change the Folder Icon to outlook.
Hope That What You Are After.
Let us know.
