URL Failures

Cannot connect to many URLs via IE or by pinging server
via command. Is not broadband, as other computer connects
to all URLs. History and temp files have been cleared.
 
Try flushing the dns cache (ipconfig /flushdns). Next
check your security zone. If the site is in a restricted
zone you will not be able to access it.

Make sure you do not have a proxy server set for your
browser. This can be set at Tools-->Internet Options--
Connections-->Lan Settings. Make sure everything is

unchecked there, unless you are supposed to have a proxy
server. Check with the machine that works.
