I have the following data:

866-363-8669 36
877-963-8932 27
888-275-0865 2
888-368-8642 4

I need to be able to produce a chart of this info as follows:

Take each phone number and place it in one comprehensive line grap
showing call attempts, week over week. Each line needs to be
different color, representing the different phone numbers?

Is this possible, and if it is, can anyone please tell/show me how t
do it??? I am not very experienced with Excel when it comes t
creating charts.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provid

To plot data week-over-week doesn't one need data for different weeks?
How does that tie in to the 2 columns of data you shared for 4 unique
phone numbers?

Tushar...I have data for additional weeks, I just didn't lis
it...oops...actually the phone #'s are pretty much the same, the dat
for each phone # changes from week to week

Here's what to do. Put the week number, week ending date, or another
convenient measure in column A, from A2 down as far as you need. Put the
phone numbers in row 1, from B2 as far to the right as you need. Put the
call attempts in the appropriate cell. Select the data and make a Line
or Scatter chart, with the Series in Columns option.

If your data is now in three columns, Phone Number, Week Number, and
Call Attempts, you can get it into chart-ready shape with a pivot table.
Week Number goes in the Row area, Phone Numbers in the Column area, and
Call Attempts in the Data area. Now make your chart. If you don't want a
pivot chart (I usually don't), select a blank cell before starting the
chart wizard, and select the data one series at a time on the Series tab
of step 2 of the Wizard.
