I'm in the U.S. and I bought an XP Home Full Edition retail package from an
eBay seller in Canada for a PC that I'm building (I've been told that it's
better than an OEM version). My question, (and this is something I didn't
think of before) are there any differences between a/the Canadian version
and the American version of XP Home?

This might sound like ignorance on my part, but, for example, are words
spelt like "Colour" instead of "Color"? And will the spellchecker recognize
some words as being incorrect but are in fact correct for my style of
English? Or any other differences?

Thanks.

the main difference is that it will throw french at you at inconvenient
intervals, most measurements will be in metric, and have an annoying habit
of not giving a f*ck what you say, since you are from the US. But it comes
with great beer, and an affinity for hockey games.

Just change the language settings to your preference when you install it.

Funny reply.
