URGENT Trouble Installing sims and otherts, plz help

I dont know what happenned but when i try installing the Sims or A-10 Cuba
for example an error message appears as soon as i click the install button.
it says that:
C:/Windows/system32/AUTOEXEC.NT. the system arquive is not adequate to
MS_DOS execution or Microsoft Windows. Press close to finalize game or
whatever..
i dont get this, and if i press ignore it just continues closing the program,
WHAT CAN I DO?!?!?!?
WHAT HAPENNED?!?!?!?
can someone plz help me !!!

Hi Lara,

You can solve that problem by replacing the file:

1. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\repair
Right-Click and Copy the file named: autoexec.nt

2. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\System32
Right-Click in that window to Paste the file
(Answer yes if prompted to replace existing file)

it's all perfect now, if its not too much to ask do you know what i can do
to get a new the sims serial number , because i lost my case and as im
reinstalling (changed computers) i dont have it..

You'll need to contact EA support for a serial number.
Click on Support at the SIMS 2 EA web site:
