Urgent System Message: Virus

Is this message real ? On the bottom right of my screen (next to my clock
ect...) I get this yellow exclamation point that says "Urgent System Message:
Virus". Is it real and if it is or is not how do I get rid of it or fix it?

I suggest you install anti-virus software and scan for viruses to remove or
quarantine the virus so that it does not affect your computer.

No, this is a scam. You've probably picked up one of the many variants
of the Smitfraud malware (Spyfalcon, Spyaxe, etc.). Go through the
preparatory steps listed here:

Then go through the removal steps here:

Finish off by going through the other malware removal steps from the
first link.

If this all looks like too much - and there is no shame in admitting
that - take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not
your local version of BigStoreUSA) for cleaning.
