I am running Windows 2000 Server on a LAN for a small 5 computer office. I tried to download Service Pack 4 on my server but after doing so my system would not boot up. I then tried to repair my 2000 installation with my W2K sidk and after doing so my workstations could not get online. They see the server and all else operates fine, but they cannot access the internet through the server anymore

When I go into Routing and Remote Access Properties my Start Up Type was "Disabled" I changed it to "Automatic
my Service Status was "Stopped" I clicked the "Start" butto

When I reboot the server I get the following
Could not start routing and remote access service on local computer. The server did not return an error. This could br an internal Windows problem or an internal service error

Whaaa????

Please help as no one can get their e-mails unless they pull them down from the server - which still has internet access

Thank Yo

Have you got the ms03-039 patch installed?
