Urgent request for the security settings for IE6 please!!!

Hello, I'd like somebody to tell me what are the best security settings for
the Internet Explorer 6.
I opened IE, clicked tools, Internet options, Protection, then clicked
personal level. This was noticed when I discovered that in my normal weekly
scan at the Kaspersky website, over 30 Dialers and various other spyware
were discovered!!
All the settings had been changed by a virus or spyware to allow more to
enter!!
My computer is now clean again!!!
Any help would be grateful!!!

I have Windows XP Pro Sp2
 
Hi Andrew,

Well, i guess that the best settings are the default ones. So click on each
zone and then click the default button. Repeat this for every zone.

Agreed--set each zone to the default, and check the various exclusion lists
to be sure that nothing is whitelisted that should not be--empty out those
site lists. And download and run Windows Defender and a competent,
regularly updated antivirus.
