My sister's Dell computer was filled with adware and to fix it, i attempted
to reload Windows XP Pro onto it. It reloaded and we are able to load other
programs, etc, but now we can't get an internet connection at all and also
her screen resolution wont change from 640x400, nor will her colors go above
16 bit. Any help on this, especially the internet connection, would be
greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a driver issue for the display card check the device manager
What kind of internet connection are you trying to make
If its a broadband connection again check the device manager for the nic
card driver

Find and use the Dell Support CD, it's probably purple and white. It has the
drivers that you need for the modem, video card, and the monitor.

Insert the Driver CD provided by Dell and follow the on-screen
instructions to reinstall the network, video, audio, etc, drivers.
