urgent - product key

I had installed an original version of the microsoft
windows 2000 proffesoinal and want to repair it since i
think i have accidently deleted some system files. The
problem is that I have lost the Windows product key and
the book with which i got my cd through dell. I dont know
now how or where i could find the product key of my
windows 2000 professional

Please help and advise
