Hello all

I have an image ready to reseal and clone.
There is some software on it which is controlled by the serial com port.
This works great, until I reseal and reboot.
After the reboot, the unit does not respond to the com ports anymore.
It also seems that the ACPI power savin functions do not work correct after
the reseal.

I have deleted the entries [HKLM\System\MountedDevices].
What can I do?

Thanks and best regards
Franz

Franz,

I have never seen this problem. It this happening to you on SP2?
I recall some folks here have seen a bunch of weird behavior of reseal on SP2.

This may be another bug there on SP2. You may want to report it to the Product Team through the feedback alias.

Another way could be a PSS request. Then you should provide more information about the problem:
- SP
- QFEs
- Components in your image. HAL and hardware used.
- The exact procedure you are following while resealing and cloning the image
- cmi properties of "System Cloning Tool" component and switches used with the fbreseal.exe.
- What exactly behavior you are observing on the cloned target? How do you test COM ports. How do you connect to the device,
etc.
- How do you test ACPI? What utilities or APIs used.
- How your FBALog.txt and SetupApi.log looks like before and after reseal/clone?
- etc.
