urgent printer problem

I'm having a problem with installing photosmart express all-in-one printer.
I started off by not being able to print at all, then tried removing program,
then reinstalling. I got an error saying that my spooler was off and needed
to be restarted. Tried that, then got an error 1075-"the dependency service
does not exist or has been marked for deletion." How can I retrieve the
dependency needed to reinstall my printer?

Remove the dependency.... see steps 15 - 17 at:

Ignore the part where it mentions 1068, the process for removal is the same
for both.
