Urgent: My Documents Folder

Does new installation of Widows XP re-create My Documents
Folder and delete all files in the previous folder? Thanks
for any feedback. Thanks a lot!
 
Hi Javed
If you do a clean install it will it will remove all your
settings so you will have to start all over again

If you install on top of the existing installation, the user profiles
and all data should be kept. If your current installation does no
longer work you may lose the data in certain situations because
Windows may create new user accounts for you.
In any case you should backup all personal data generally and at least
before starting such a critical task.
