I have a database application created in 97 that points to
a custom built .mdw file specified in the property. When
opening it in 97, it will prompt you with userid and
password. But when I tried opening it in XP, it went
straight into the database application without prompting
me for userid and password even though the custom
built .mdw resides in the same folder as the database app
and the path to that custom built .mdw is specified in the
property. I know each Access application will either by
default look for system.mdw or custom built .mdw file.
Shouldn't it override what workgroup admin is pointing to
if you specify a particular .mdw in the property? Can
anyone help?
