I tried rather stupidly to connect a Win2000 laptop to my
own computer by changing the System properties of the
laptop. I changed the DOMAIN of the laptop to a WORKGROUP
with the same name as the workgroup on my computer, and
restarted the laptop. Now it is impossible to log on to
the laptop! The Domain field at the login window is gone,
and no known user of the laptop is possible to log in.

1. How can my action lead to this result?
2. Is there any way to undo it?
3. Is there any sneaky ways into the computer?

On the laptop there is an important PowerPoint
presentation (of course). And I am going to get flogged if
that Presentation is not available within 12 hrs!!!

HELP PLEASE!

can u logon to the labtop locally or workgorup.
if so then logon and join the domain, go back to the system
properties and change the workgroup to domain.
if u want ot logon to both domian and workgorup then try this
