Hi
I'm have an DC issue that I'm looking for help to solve.
Our 2nd Win2k DC crashed, it where also running Exch2k.
The problem is that before our technician called me they
had reinstalled the OS in the server and promoted it to
2nd DC again with the same computername and registered a
new computer account.
after that, they tried to restore all local drives and
system state from backup in "OS running mode" and guess
what... yes, it was a bad idea... :/
Instead we did reinstalled the OS and in DS repair mode
restored all local drives and system state. this time
everything went well... ACCEPT that we now have problem
with synchronisation with the other DC in our domain.
Yeah, I know about the changed SID's and the change of USN.
Can anyone please sort things out for me so that I can get
back on track? I need the Exch2k to run in the morning.
Looking forward an quick answere![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/custom/smilies/smile.gif)
Best regards
