in the dcpromo stage when it need 2 start the sync it failed
with this msg: "failed finding a DC for domain blabla"
i've tried 2 configure DNS server @ the 2nd computer

I would suggest you use DNS on the Win2k DC, then point the DC to its own
address for DNS and point the member you are try to DCPROMO to the current
DC for DNS.
You could have further issues though, can you post an ipconfig /all from
your current DC, and the actual domain name from ADU&C.

Hey kevin,

i have a problem with the DNS on the DC, it installed in the Active
Directory and theres
something wrong there cuz it doesnt have any data on it,
i've tryied 2 delete the c:\winnt\system32\dns and tried 2 reinstall the DNS
but nothing
so i had 2 configure a new dns.

That is why I need to see your ipconfig /all and the actual domain name from
ADU&C.
I will be looking for a possible disjointed namespace or single label domain
name either of these can cause serious problems with DNS registrations.

BTW, if your zones are AD integrated the DNS data will not be in the
%systemroot%\system32\dns, ADI zone data is stored in the AD Database. You
can see this in ADU&C in domainname- system- MicrsoftDNS folder
