Urgent help needed

Hi i am having a problem with my CDRW/DVD drive.i tried
to update the drivers of my CDRW/DVD drive from the
manufacturer's website and i installed them on my system
(samsung SM-332B)and when it asked me to restart the
system i said Yes.when i opened the MyComputer folder i
cannot see the CD/DVD drive in the removable disk area
only thing i can see is the floppy drive the CD/DVD drive
is missing.I am not even able to open the CD drive when i
press the eject button.what should i do to get back my
CD/DVD DRIVE.i am a novice and i don't have much
knowledge with this XP PRO system.pls help me to resolve
this issue.
