hi,

sorry for the dramatics...but...

My company release's mutlilingual Drivers on 1 CD.

the basic CD structure is a follow

..\Driver\English\Win2k_xp
\Wnt
\W9x
\French\Win2k_xp
\Wnt
\W9x
\etc....

The last folder being Turkish.

Now when I do a Plug and Play install on Windows 2000 the New Hardware
wizard search's the CD for drivers and picks the Turkish one,
why??????

I have tried adding the languageID (According to the MSDN site) to the
strings section of the inf, but still Windows picks the Turkish
Driver. the CD has 17 language folder, does anyone else have this
problem? can someone help???

Thanks

Maybe you should try and see if you can point the search at the WINNT or
WIN9X folder yourself. In the window that gives the search pointer there
may be a result that shows the Turkish folder in a drop-down list. If this
is so there may be right next to the drop-down list a Browse button. If
that is available you can click the Browse button and set the point to the
appropriate folder, yourself. Let me know what happens.
