URGENT! Cannot view web pages with I.E. 6

each time I open IE 6 to surf, I get a DNS error and cannot get online. I have no problem with Netscape but need IE back yesterday. What is the problem? The program does not appear in my add/remove programs, how can I uninstall IE and reinstall and, if I do that, will it solve my problem
 
You probably have a Trojan.Qhost virus. If you have
another computer you may use to surf the net, most of the
major virus software companies have a removal tool for
this.
