not bad in 24 hrs; and still no one else complained of a virus:

1) When I visited cree8 UK's website, I got a security warning that the site
was trying to download "Lernout & Haaspie TruVoice Amer. Eng TTS Engine"
from Microsoft. I don't like a site trying to force me to download software
that I am unfamilar with.

2) All Purpose Software's site says "Once you have purchased any product
from All Purpose Software, you are entitled to unlimited free technical
support". What does this have to do with freeware.

3) Inet Software's site requires users to "...REGISTER with your NAME,
EMAIL, and WEBSITE (if you have one). Once you have done so you can
IMMEDIATELY begin any downloads available!" No Thanks, I can do without the
SPAM that is sure to follow.

1. (Cree8 UK) TTS Engine only comes up because it has to do with the
freeware assoc. with the website; the site includes a freeware search engine

2. (all purpose software) thx for the correction. they said they linked
to freeware on their site.

3. (inet) freeware after registration ? so what's the prob? tons of
freeware that require reg are posted here any ways no matter what.

1 outta 12 - not bad in the 1st 24 hours.

Thanks for your quick response.

1. Thanks for that clarification.

2. Thanks for looking into that.

3. I just don't like registering.

You needn't use real data. And if you need an email address for a key,
it doesn't have to be one that's importrant to you. Use a spam trap.
