Fred B.
I run a small home LAN (3 systems) and have been monitoring remote machines'
uptimes, disk space etc from my #1 machine.
After doing the latest "security" updates yesterday, I've lost my connection
to #3's uptime meter. The machine itself is registering it's times, but I
can't get my "remote" meters on either of the other machines to pick it up.
Machine's 1 & 2 can both read each other's, but neither can get through to
#3.
Machine #3, the one I'm having the problem with, can read #2's uptime, but
can't get through to #1
Both #1 & #2 are still able to track "disk space", and all other Network
functions, copying, synching seem to be working normally.
I've tried searching the KB and Help files for a registry key that might
have been modified, or a service that might be disabled. Haven't been able
to find what I need.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Fred
