Upsizing Wizard - Overflow

I am trying to use the Upsizing Wizard to convert an
Access 2000 db to SQL 2000. I have three seperate SQL
servers to choose from and one instance of MSDE - no
matter which one I choose I get an 'Overflow' message when
trying to authenticate to the SQL server.

Has anyone else encountered this?

One cause of this is corrected by installing the latest Office 2000
service pack. See

No ideas, I'm afraid, except that (a) it should be pretty simple to run
a series of append queries to move the data manually, and (b) there's
always the MS Knowledgebase at

Thank You, loading SP3 worked!

However, I can not get the data to export - only the
structure. I have un-checked 'Only create the table
structure; don't upsize any data' - but I only get the
structure.

Any Ideas?

Did you ever get your Access db exported to SQL? I am
trying to do the same thing. I have applied the SP3 - this
fixed the Overflow problem. Now when I run the Upsizing
Wizard, nothing is exported. The report shows the
message 'Table was skipped, or export failed' for all of
the tables of amy Access database. There is no information
as to why the failure occurred. Answer to my email if you
wish. Thanks.
